A few meters from the beach, following the main street a driveway between the grape trees will get you to our kiteboarding center. At the entrance you will notice our kite paintings and our flags. The center is a cozy place where you can relax after your kitesufing supervision or kite session under the natural shadow of trees. Also friends or family members of the students are welcome to spend their time here. We always offer coffee and cold water. Wifi and plugs are available as well as kitesurf magazines and instruction books. The goal is to provide a place for everyone to relax the body and rest the mind after the kite session. Discussing with your kite instructors can give you feedback of your kitesurf experience. Maybe you have some questions or you just want to share your excitement. We want to listen and share your kite moments, this is what gives us power to continue!

Dream Kitesurfing Team
In Naxoskitelife, the kite team consists of professional kiteboarding instructors who are also dedicated kitesurfers never missing a chance for practicing in their free time. Passionate, skilled and experienced, they love to spread their passion for the sport and train people who are interested to try. Our kitesurf instructors know several languages so they can teach students from all over the world. Teaching kitesurfing is a very demanding and energy consuming procedure. Not everyone can do this job, that is why we choose our kite team with great care. All our kite instructors are certified by KC and IKO or other organisation associated with kiteboarding. They all have good feedback and recommendations from places they worked before. We also try to support all our team members by helping to find accommodation, adjusting the schedule to their needs as much as possible and providing places to eat and have a break in our kite center.

Kiteboarding Equipment
Naxoskitelife uses the latest kiteboarding equipment from top brands of the market. We have special kite equipment that help students progress faster and safer as well as advanced gear for rentals and advanced supervision.
We use the PS Eleveight kitesurfing kites for teaching that feature stability and effortless relaunching. The control system is easy and simple. Different sizes of kite boards are used to serve the student needs. We use shorter kite lines in the first kitesurfing supervision to maximize the safety. As the confidence increases, we change to medium and then full length.
For rentals depending on their kitesurfing level we offer additionally more advanced kites models made by Eleveight (RS, WS) and Peter Lynn (Swell). For foilers we offer full carbon foil boards made by Moses. All our customers (student and rentals) need to wear a helmet and an impact vest. We teach kiteboarding using radios (walkie talkies). The safety boat is ready to go in case of need.
What's the story: About Our Kiteboarding Center
The story begins in 2009 when Petros, the founder of Naxoskitelife entered the sport of kitesurfing. Coming from a local seamen family, having an educational background of msc in financial economics and computers and a steady job in Naxos, still he was feeling something missing from his life, something he couldn’t explain. He could see it was there, an invisible gap. The apocalypse happened when he saw a kitesurfer for his first time. It was exciting! And many more feelings came through directly leading to ordering the kiteboarding equipment. Without any kite instruction available, he faced a real challenge: teaching himself kitesurfing with the strange equipment of the previous decade. It was a hard start, but commitment, motivation and awareness of the dangers led to slowly mastering kiteboarding.
In 2011 he started supervising kitesurfing to his friends to share this amazing feeling. Realizing how many people are interested to progress and get introduced to the sport, he decided to quit his job and dedicate his life in coaching the sport. After getting every existing certification and the highest level of IKO, he launched his kite center in the summer of 2015.
In 2016 Eliisabet joined the kite team and they worked together to make the small kite center even better. Since then Naxoskitelife has been growing every year becoming a fully equipped kite center. The kitesurf shop Caretta-Caretta in Chora of Naxos was founded in 2018 selling kitesurf equipment, custom Naxos kitelife design beach wear, handmade souvenirs and more.
