…feel welcome – feel well teached – feel safe When I decided to do a kitesurfing course in Mikri Viglia I went to check the 3 local kitesurfing schools. To me in the first line it is not important what the place / the shop looks like but the way I’m being addressed by the people. In Naxos Kitelife Center I felt welcomed from the very beginning. Jaqueline provided me with all the details of the course and all the necessary informations. I was able to start the course the by next day at the time of my choice. Emilio, the instructor, is a very friendly person and had a very good way to explain the theoretical basics of kitesurfing to me. During all the teaching hours safety was Emilio’s top priority. He always had an watchful eye on everything and everyone around us so I could concentrate on myself and the kite. I liked the way he’s teaching. He his encouraging and honest about your progress at the same time. His criticism was always helpful and constructive. For me it was the right balance between encouragement, honesty and patience. Muchas gracias Emilio! Before and after lessons there was always time for a chat, an excellent cup of cappuccino freddo (thanks Jaqueline!) and a helpful feedback about the past session. I also liked the the relaxed, not-too-stylish and sometimes imperfect ambiente of th place. I hope you can keep your friendly, welcoming and down to earth attitude towards your customers for that’s – beside teaching quality and safety – is the most important thing when learning something new. Great time at Naxos Kite Life Naxos Kite Life is a new school of Kite Sur in Naxos, Greece. Teacher here are great: strict on safety matters, they are fully dedicated to you. They will provide you very good basis to start kite surfing, and will adapt your courses path to your level. Prices are the same as they are in other kite school in Naxos, but here you pay as much as you spend time with your professor, no more. Moreover, they are not focused on their schedule, the lesson will not stop in the middle of an exercise because you are running a bit out of time. Finally, the philosophy here is great: spending a good time while learning to kite. Conclusion: Definitively recommend it, you will have a great time.

Naxos kite life We took 8 lessons at naxos kitesurf life school with petros who was excellent teacher. First lessons were piloting, safety. Than we learned how to do the power stroke before going to the water with body dragging excercise. After that we did waterstart which took us quite a long time about 4 lessons. Petros was very calm and motivating at each phase so it was fun to learn. We came as complete beginners and we left with new passion that we can share together. And for that we are very thankful.

Great fun I really enjoyed this training course! The instructor was experienced and good at explaining, in less than 6 hours I was already riding the board in the water (I was a total beginner). I would totally recommend it to anyone!

Feedback As a learner I wasn’t feeling comfortable with full control over kite at all times. The beach on which I was learning was quite busy, which made me feel nervous to make mistake, which added a bit of extra pressure and worrying about people on the beach instead of giving a full attention to the lesson. I like the instructor, she got passion into me to carry on learning and become really good at kitesurfing.

Very enjoyable experience Liisa’s way of teaching very much contributed to my first steps with a kite and on a board. I felt safe during the lessons and appreciated a very friendly and open approach. Best kiteschool on site! Kitelifenaxos is simply the best kite school you can find on Naxos to learn kite surfing! Petros is not only the best kite surfer on the island but also an excellent teacher, who loves his sport and wants you to get into it as fast and good as possible. Other than the other schools he does not waste any time with theory but will get you on the water as fast as possible and will adjust his lessons to your learning curve instead of keeping strictly to the book, no matter how fast you advance. He also makes you feel confident handling the kites even on stronger winds and going into the water, which was impressive to see also on all the other students (especially good for girls, who are often more suspicious in the beginning). The only downside is probably that he declines to give you more lessons once he considers you independent enough to be on your own, however he will still watch you when you are on your own and provide you with tips. During my stay in Mikri Vigla, I became a fully independent kite surfer in just a couple of days and achieved much more than I expected initially. Best of all is that you get this at the most competitive pricing compared to the other schools. Since he is also a very social guy, most of the students stayed on the spot when their lesson was over, which made it a very nice and social environment, in which I not only learned kitesurfing but also found new friends at the same time. I highly recommend kitelifenaxos in case you plan to learn kite surfing on Naxos!

Petros is a fantastic teacher – He is very careful and makes students feel extremely safe, and is also very motivating and great knowledge about the sport, the wind etc and he really loves the sport. I would definitely recommend learning to kite with Petros to anyone, and we’ll definitely be back with our family and friends so that they can learn how to kite with him.

Petros is a great Instructor!! I had kiting lessons with petros for the second time. He is very helpful, very understanding and very experienced. He can guide you and spot all the little things that you may be doing wrong and help you get better. He wants for the student to be independent as fast as possible in the safest way and doesn’t waste your time. I recommend him 100% !!

Best teacher in Mikri Vigla I was recomended Pedros from Naxos Kite Life by the locals. And it was a great choice. Compare to other schools in Mikri Vigla, he was interested in teaching me the sport and not only making money with me (which I observed on the beach at the other schools). We quickly became friends, he introduced me to other local kiters and invited me and my family to his home. A great Greek & kiting experience!

Best Kite Teacher I could wish! I have had so far 3 different teachers (also IKO certified) and Petros from Kite Life School was from far the best. Petris can explain very well, make you feel safe and confident and most important do everything so that you can learn this great sport very fast. I had only 6-8 hours lessons and I was already independant. Many thanks to Petros and all the best for his school in Naxos!

Serious and professional instructor for professional weather conditions – even for beginners I got a great introduction to kite surfing, Petros passionate about what he does and he does not compromise either with equipment or security.
